What's the deal with Hurst? Have they publicly disclosed what his condition is?

Not publicly, but it is supposedly a heart condition detected at the combine. A couple of teams cleared him and he did compete at his pro day. Maybe you docs can speculate on what kind of condition it would be that would allow that.

NFLN just said the condition... exercise-induced ventricular tachycardia, which Hank Gathers had been diagnosed before his collapse and death. They found in autopsy... Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (thickening of parts of his heart for no real reason).

I'd like to see at least one RB, and more beef in the DL, as well as ILB. Hurst and Griffin are the two guys that I hope are available at the middle of the 4th. QB is also an option, but I think the Chargers are invested in Cardale Jones, and are comfortable with fixing Geno Smith.

For you to fall from a 1st rounder to currently still avaible in the 4th, his heart condition had to be serious like an enlarged heart

QB - Lauletta
RB - Scarborough would be great!
OT the guy from UTEP or whatever small school that some thought would be the 2nd round pick of bolts?
TE developmental would be good
LB - sign me up for griffin. great player and also great PR for chargers or Josey for inside thumper

I think Hurst unfortunately has a serious enough issue to be passed on. But would be worth a 5-6- or 7. Smith took a WR that was a basically a charity case and never even played or practiced.

No risk to him. He gets drafted, gets some money and never plays. I doubt nfl team is going to put him on the field if he might die. Just wrong period. But being cold think of what it does to nfl and all their greed if a player dies. Sorry to be so cold/gruesome. I feel bad for him. Great great college player. Sad result.
